Tutoring
We are currently engaged in our 8th year of tutoring at the Boys' &
Girls' Club in Paulding County. Students receive help with their homework each day Monday through Thursday from
3:00 to 5:30. Each tutor works with two students at a time and we typically see 15-20 students
each day. We have just begun a second program at te Episcopal Church of the Holy Cross in Decatur.
Saint Laurence wins John Swain Award!
This award is given to the Volunteer Group of the Year
for groups serving all 21 Metro Atlanta Boys & Girls Clubs. Several tutors and two student's
were invited to an award's dinner to mark the accomplishment. The director of the club, Kevie Dixon,
stated "our academic program has skyrocketed as a result of the tutoring program created by Saint Laurence."

Grade Levels
We work with
all students, K -12. Potential students for the middle school can also be assessed for future
admission.
